A Bit About Me

Meet Marcie, a dedicated professional in Functional Medicine, holds a Master's Degree in Human Nutrition and has been working in the field of functional nutrition since 2011.


Her journey, shaped by overcoming personal battles including anorexia, chronic digestive issues, and infertility, fuels her unwavering belief in the transformative power of nutrition.


As Vice-Chair of the Minnesota Board of Dietetics and Nutrition, Marcie's expertise spans a spectrum of health conditions, with a passionate focus on gut health, disordered eating, thyroid health, and female hormones.


Through her own healing experience, she advocates for empowering clients with sustainable dietary changes, guiding them on paths towards lasting wellness.

  • Has been working in functional medicine nutrition since 2011 with in depth experience supporting clients to improve and often eliminate complex chronic disease

  • Current Vice Chair and a chosen board member for the Minnesota Board of Dietetics and Nutrition Practice since 2019

  • Experience working in functional medicine clinics as a gut health and mental health functional nutrition specialist 

  • In depth knowledge and understanding of how to use supplements, as needed, to support the body to health, and judicious in knowing when adding a supplement is or isn't indicated

  • Well-versed and experienced in women's health and hormone balancing, gut health, blood sugar balancing, metabolic disease, eating disorders, mental health (gut-brain connection), autoimmune disease, and more.

  • Knowledgeable in reviewing lab work and understanding how nutrition can be used to improve labs

  • Co-hosted a weekly radio show

  • On an expert panel for gut health product development

  • Speaker/Presenter for corporate health initiatives, classes, and provides media quotes for local and national companies
